Detecting body heat

Postby doraidbeck » Mon Sep 22, 2008 8:57 am

Hello eng. Ibraheem,
thak you for this website. I have a problem and i hope u can help me with it. I need to build a thermal camera to detect the body heat using TPA81 Thermopile Array.
the problem is that i dont have any former experience in electronics so i hope u'd help me. I know this is a lot to ask but i hope u'll find this interesting urself.
this is a link to the TPA81 technical specifications:
http://www.robot-electronics.co.uk/htm/tpa81tech.htm

i asked another group who had already done this and this was the info i got from them: "The two 8-pixel sensors for a 16-pixel line camera, that is turned to produce a 2D-image of the size of 16 x 120 pixels. We use a ATMEGA8 uC to turn the servo and to collect the data over the I2C bus from the TPA81".

but i couldn't make much sense out of it, so i need ur help.

well, that's it. best regards
