Brief Circuit explanation:

This 3 parts flash ADC converter is extremely fast, accurate, and easy to operate. The main disadvantage is it's relatively low resolution, but this circuit is designed to solve this problem by concentrating on a small range of voltage variation, to obtain high resolutions in that range.

You can change the range of the converter using those 2 equations:

where the resistance is calculated in Kilo Ohms.

It is clear that the range will be between Vlow and Vhigh.

An input voltage high than Vhigh will always give the digital output 111, while an input voltage lower than Vlow will always give a digital output 000.

The voltage to be converted have to be between 0 and 5 Volts.
